FiberWork has open opportunities in Brazil in the following areas:

1) Specialist in Discrete Optics (Optical Engineering)

The candidate must have knowledge and domain of light propagation theory in free space, geometric optics and optic engineering. Knowledge about light sources and photodetectors is an important differential. English proficiency required.

2) Software Engineer (Borland C++ Builder)

The candidate will work with software development for specific applications. General knowledge in C++/C/KYLIX for plataforms like Windows, Linux and embedded systems is a plus. English proficiency required.

3) Telecomunications Specialist

We are looking for a professional with the following profile: ample knowledge in the optical fiber area, optical communication networks and protocols, wireless communication protocols, audio/video broadcasting and standards. It is desirable additional experience in instrumentation and/or computational modeling, software and computation. English proficiency required.

4) Production Engineer Assitant (undergraduated)

We are looking for a strong motivated undergraduate willing to get experience in production management, covering all stages of transforming an engineering prototype into a commercial product. English proficiency required.

5) Commercial Manager

Senior Engineer with strong commercial experience in the optical communication and telecom areas. It is necessary fluency in English language, and International experience will be appreciated.

6) Embedded Software Development Engineer

We are looking for a professional who will develop software applications for instrumentation in photonics and telecommunications.

Abilities required:

- knowledge and experience with C++ for both Windows and Linux platforms
- experience with C++ Bilder
- experience with embedded systems
- distinguished educational background from a top-level university
- Computer Engineering or Electronics Engineering degree
- English proficiency required.

7) Communication Systems Development Engineer

We are looking for a professional with experience in technology development in data communication and telecommunications.

Abilities required:

- outstanding knowledge and experience in technology development related to communications protocols, TCP/IP, Ethernet, PDH, SDH and data transmission
- distinguished educational background from a top-level university
- Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or Electronics Engineering degree
- English proficiency required.
